First of all, disabled rabbits usually die. It happens during a breeding period. As a rule, rabbits don't die during next three days. In three days rabbits that are not able to suck milk usually die. Those infant rabbits that are not able to preserve their lives during a hunting period of their mother may also lose their lives. Nests full of infant rabbits may die from intolerant state farm examining, lack of necessary care, not following important rules by the staff of the farm, intrusion in the process of breeding, impolite treatment of a young mother.
That's why rabbits raised up till the period of bum's rush guarantee success to the farm and make their breeder happy and satisfied with the result.
There are some female rabbits whose children never die. And there are some bad mothers. Accelerated rabbit breeding since its foundation in 1970 keeps strong selection according to this principle. But only with the help of selection it's impossible to solve the problem. That's why new methods were found.
A nesting place should be checked after the breeding. Then – on the third day after breeding we check the number of rabbits.
Next check-ups are held during «cuckoo» system implementation. Once in three days the check-ups should take place. On the tenth day infant rabbits should be counted again. After these steps there is no need in check-ups, only during “cuckoo” system functioning. Finally rabbits should be checked during bum's rush period.
